How to Convert DVD to AVI on Mac?
AVI, short for Audio Video Interleaved, is a multimedia container format introduced by Microsoft in November 1992. As a container, AVI can contain both audio and video data in a file that allows synchronous audio-with-video playback. Step 1: Add DVD Movie
Click File -> Load DVD or Load DVD Files and select the DVD-ROM drive with DVD disc inserted. You can also import the IFO files from VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD disc. Then the DVD titles and chapters will go into the standby list. Continue to add a second DVD movie if you have multiple DVD-ROM drive.

Step 2: Select AVI as output format
Use the "Format" on the bottom of the window to control the output format. Click on the toggle to the right of the "Format" label to get format drop-down menu. Extend "Video Formats" menu to select .avi as an output format.
Click "Browse..." button to choose the destination folder for saving your converted AVI video files.

Step 3: Convert DVD to AVI on Mac
